A study of Basic Structure of the Red Tide Observation System

Abstract

In the coastal sea area in Japan, red tide generated in every summer is one of the causes of fishery serious damage.This is important society and economic progblem. The authors have have studied studying about the red tide observation system to prevent damage suffered from red tide. The authors have developed the system using observation buoys and wireless communications for monitoring system. This system can observe the position and seawater temperation in real-time when red tide occurs. In this paper, we describe tha basic constitution of the developed observation system, and expriment results.
