Abstract
This paper reports on the teaching practice of information literacy in accordance with the revised model core
curriculum. A study was conducted to examine the change in understanding of information literacy among second-year students at NIT, Hiroshima College. The study employed a lecture on information literacy, and the students' understanding of information literacy was evaluated before and after the lecture. The results of quizzes on information literacy indicate a significant improvement in students' understanding of information literacy following the lecture.
