Topics in High-Purity Germanium Detector Development

Abstract

  Problems in crystal growth, those in surface dead layers found in the detectors, the development of large-volume, low-background detector systems, the use as a photodiode for low temperature application, portable detectors and annealing of neutron-damaged detectors are summarized.
