Abstract
In the previous paper, the authors proposed a new reinforced concrete beam model incorporating shear displacement and bond slip S. This beam model was named S-model, and the external force corresponding to bond-slip S was the distributed load along the reinforced bar. However, in actual analysis, it is useful to apply an external force to the end of the reinforced bar. For this reason, in this paper, a Ds-model with bond slip S as the dependent variable is newly developed. Therefore, in Ds-model, a displacement field in which bond slip
S does not exist is defined. The strain is specified from this displacement, and the strain energy functional is obtained. Then, the variation of the strain energy functional and the virtual work energy of the external force are obtained, and the virtual work equation is formulated. From this virtual work equation, simultaneous differential equations that are boundary conditions are derived.
