A newly corrosion resistance steel containing Sn for steel structure has been developed. The corrosion resistance of this developed steel was evaluated by SAE J2334 cycle test and exposure test at LNG plant. As a results, this developed steel reduced paint delamination area and corrosion depth at its paint scribe. Therefore, the developed steel is expected to reduce a paint repairing cycle of steel structure under atmospheric condition. We report the corrosion resistance of this developed steel and give the report regarding exposure test at LNG plant.
