Abstract
This article describes the author’s activity of HPI Subcommittee on code and standard for high pressure vessels and ASME Subcommittee on high pressure vessels. The author has been appointed the committee member of Subcommittee on high pressure vessels of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Committee since 2000. The author proposed many modifications and developments for ASME Sec. VIII Div.3 (ASME Div.3) and most of them were approved by Board and these proposed changes have been incorporated in ASME Div.3.
