The Japan Pressure Vessel Research Council (JPVRC) was established, just after the 3rd International Conference on Pressure Vessel Technology (ICPVT 3), 1977 in Tokyo, The JPVRC is working with close cooperation with WRC/PVRC. The research activities of WRC/PVRC are mainly supported by 3 divisions, namely material, design and fabrication division. Each division is composed of many subcommittees and task groups. The organization and activities of WRC/PVRC are outlined based on WRC Annual Repport 1985/1986 and Long Range Plan for Pressure Vessel Research, 7th Edition.
