Abstract
A simple method to determine the solidification pressure of some liquids is presented, where the dependence of the resistance of Manganin on the external load is observed in the liquid to be studied and the comparison is made wih the case of 4:1 methanol-ethanol. In water and carbon tetrachloride, however, the solidification pressure was not able to be determined uniquely because of the extraordinary behavior of the resistance in these liquids.
