A fatal dermatitis with scab formation occurred not infrequently young albino Elaphe climacophora in snake pit at Iwakuni. Histopathological findings revealed that many Aspergillus like mycelia were seen in the superficial layer of skin and necrotic changes with inflamatory cell infiltration were in deep layer.
