Some Observations on a Snake found on Miyako Island, Okinawa

Abstract

The subspecies Dinodon septentrionalis multifasciatus was named by Dr. M. Maki in 1931. Hitherto, this subspecies was reported only from Ishigaki and Iriomote Islands. In this paper, it is newly recorded from Miyako Island, and descriptions of scale characters and coloration are given.
