Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to build a care theory based on interpersonal relationship. Until now, care
has been defined by various people. For example, Nel Noddings defines caregivers, care-receivers, and caring
separately. On that basis, care consists of the interaction between the caregiver and the care-receiver. However,
care by Noddings consists of each recognition, and in that care, the roles of the caregiver and the care-receiver are fixed. If the roles of the caregiver and the care-receiver are fixed, the possibility that the care-receiver will care (or the possibility that the caregiver will be cared for) cannot be opened. This paper discusses the perspective of care that clarifies the role in the process of living interpersonal relationship.
