Abstract
This study examined the problems and outcomes arising from an approach, based on applied behavior analysis, for the employment of individuals with intellectual disabilities. One of the key results was that we were able to devise an approach that focuses on environmental adjustment by determining the cause for a certain problematic behavior, without assuming it to be the disability. However, since employees feel a sense of burden and resistance, subsequent tasks should include building a system for accumulating, expressing, and transferring the information obtained by the approach based on applied behavior analysis.
