Abstract
In this study, we proposed our original research and development (R & D) program management method in RICOH Co., Ltd.(RICOH), based on P2M and 3S model, to overcome Death Valley and we inspected it effective by applying the method transversely in the organization of the RICOH. At first, in the R & D section, an application of the project management method brought efficiency of the theme development and showed that it was effective for the transfer to the commodification in business section. Then we started up another project paralleled on the business section side to receive the result of the R & D section to industrialize as a further remedy.
In this way, based on a program management viewpoint, we showed that the making of structure which let both sections cooperate closely was extremely effective for Death Valley conquest.
