Proposal of A Framework for Promoting Process Improvement Activities Using P2M

Abstract

An important aspect of software process improvement activities is to establish a company-wide mechanism for promoting improvement activities. Each development department will utilize the mechanism to carry out improvement activities. However, there are reports that the mechanism for promoting improvement activities is complicated and difficult to construct. In addition, it has been reported that it is difficult to utilize external improvement cases. Therefore, we came up with ideas from improving these issues from P2M framework, which manages programs and projects on a company-wide basis. In this paper, in order to solve these problems, we propose a process improvement activity promotion framework using P2M.
