Abstract
This paper is an addendum to “A Study on the Expansion of the P2M Concept - An Introduction to Practical Design Theory” Many programs related to DX and SX have difficulty in setting short-term achievement goals. This paper examines the requirements for program management from the standpoint of design theory with regard to programs for which it is difficult to give short-term numerical targets such as performance and cost. First, we explain how P2M can be positioned within design science from the perspective of the classification of cognitive science and design science. Considering management in a company in terms of the classification of indirect framework and direct work, it is effective to incorporate design methods that include user interaction between the P2M scheme model and service model when creating deliverables. Next, we explain the importance of platform management to build consensus among stakeholders for a successful program involving organizational change.
