In recent years, the automotive industry has been hit by a series of extremely large waves: the CASE Revolution, which has been described as a once-in-a-century revolution; the decarbonization trend; and countries no longer using Russian energy sources due to its invasion of Ukraine. The decarbonization trend is distinct from conventional global warming policies, and in the author's opinion, the auto industry is the main focus of decarbonization—in fact, decarbonization also means “de-petroleum-ization.” In preparation for the coming “post-oil era,” transportation and automobile industry policies will hopefully be discussed from the perspective of energy supply.
