State of Electrified Vehicles and Future Prospects in the CASE Era

Abstract

The Japanese automobile industry has recovered from the post-war chaos, and Japan, which has no resources, has grown rapidly as an "energy-saving manufacturing industry." Japanese engineers, who are good at exchanging ideas and coordinating with each other, have developed a world-class automobile by maximizing the energy and resources given to them. Now, the vision of shifting to carbon neutrality right away has taken shape from the idea of energy conservation. It is not so simple that "post-energy saving" can be called "carbon neutrality," and it is necessary to deepen our understanding of renewable energy. However, this paper does not discuss energy, but examines the current position and future prospects of electric vehicles, which are expected to utilize renewable energy.
