Abstract

The Interview Collection with Lhasa Newars kept in the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies includes 66 examples of interviews with Lhasa Newars. The work was carried from Feb. 2003 to Nov. 2005. In this paper, I report two facts concerning the late Jñāna-jyoti Kasāḥ (or Gyan jyoti Kasah, the second son of Bhāju-ratna Kaṃsākār nicknamed “Syamukapu”). They are not presented in each summary of contents on (1) and (2).

(1) [03-S-18 : Tej Ratna KANSAKAR]

(2) [05-S-14 : Kalu KUMA, Rakesh AWALE] and [05-S-15 : Rakesh AWALE]

I hope scholars around the world can easily access this valuable collection.
