Today's galloping advances in medical knowledge and technology have swollen the ranks of elderly persons, sparking off a rise in the incidence of chronic diseases and disabilities to which they are more vulnerable than any other age groups. Providing rehabilitation services for seniors involves an enormous range and complexity of challenges.
