Abstract
Vanadyl-phtalocyanine (VOPc) thin films were prepared on polyethylene-terephthalate (PET) film. The VOPc film prepared on PET substrate of 120° had Phase II. The third harmonic (TH) intensity of the VOPc film was measured by Maker fringe. The third optical susceptibility (X(3)) estimated from TH intensity is 3.5×109 esu. We also showed that the transition from Phase I to Phase II of the VOPc film was enhanced by corona charging.
