Novel topologies of three-phase rectifiers with half-voltage dc outputs are proposed. The proposed systems consist of double diode bridge circuits with additional switching devices and a three-phase transformer with a rating of around 50% power capacity of the dc output power. The rectifier can generate 24-step input voltage with a total harmonic distortion of 7.7%.
