Abstract
This paper presents an effective edge resonant snubber to suppress parasitic ringing oscillation due to the auxiliary switch which operates under a condition of zero current soft switching (ZCS)turn-off commutation with the aid of an additional voltage clamping diode loop. The conducted EMI noise performances of the boost chopper-fed DC-DC converter with improved auxiliary edge resonant snubber is evaluated and discuss from an experimental point of view.
