Illuminance at Nighttime and Environment in Installed Area of Street Lighting, Bouhan-tou, for Preventing Crime in Mie University

Abstract

To keep illuminance at nighttime in a wide public installation area, such as school, hospital and factory, is necessary for security and amenity. In this study, for a sample of search, survey, analyze and eveluate the street lighting, the surrounding environment and illuminance at nighttime for a wide public installation area, the environmental factor concerning 'Bouhan-you' in Mie University were measured and evaluated.
