Abstract
Based on the eco-life and moreover to realize more comfortable life, we aim to create products or a room to control environmental elements such as light, heat, air quality, and sound. However we will not make real trials or a life-size room, but create them in the digital space on the computer. A high-accuracy simulation technology of a light environment, which we name VRAD (VR Aided Design) , has been developed. This paper describes the accuracy and functions of VRAD, and the dramatic effects to improve the process between planning and designing by applying VRAD from the beginning of creation.
