Abstract
According to the traffic safety white paper, the traffic fatal accident number happens most at nighttime at rain and the visibility of the sign and the display of information at nighttime is important. And, LED paid attention to as a new headlight can differ from the source of light so far, and change the color of light with one light. In this research, it aims to examine whether the combination of the colors of the light of what roadway lighting and headlight is the best from the viewpoint of seeing the color of the reflective object experimentally. And, it was examined what change in the comparison between elderly and young observers on color identification. From the result of the experiment, as for elderly observers, the accuracy rate has lowered to young observers by Color Chip Blue Flower, Red, and White in any condition. Both elderly and young observers had a lot of answers "Yellow" or "Orange" in Color Chip White (The correct answer color is "White. ") and answers "Gray" in Color Chip Blue Flower (The correct answer color is "Purple. "). In addition, the accuracy rate of elderly observer's Color Chip Blue Flower became almost 0%. In elderly observers, there was a person who answered Color Chip Red (The correct answer color is "Red. "), "Purple".
