A Study on the Configuration and Characteristics of Networking Camera

Abstract

Recently, digital cameras have been improved and added the TCP/IP protocol function and Web server functions. Then there are sites in the Internet which send the remote live movies. This paper describes the trend of the recent networking cameras, such as network cameras and web cameras which are cooperated with the video processing servers. And the functions and configurations of the cameras are classified. Then the new web camera is proposed and the configuration and the design method are mentioned. Furthermore the transfer characteristics of the camera are also shown and the ones for the mobile terminal are also mentioned.
