抄録
  In order to produce metal-particle composites by pressure casting, particle aggregates must be preheated up to a temperature not lower than the critical preheating temperature of the particle (C. P. T.) under which the melt cannot flow into the particle aggregates. Particle size and figure, superheat of melt and pressure applied were examined in terms of how they influence the C. P. T.. It was found that none of them had any effect on C. P. T. itself and the C. P. T. equation still holds for particle aggregates, whether spherical or angular, as long as they are smaller than 700 microns or so in the diameter.
