The author has previously reported on "Pathologic Physiology of Rheumatoid Arthritis, especially in respect to the Blood, Cardiovascular System and Connective Tissues." in a symposium on "Collagen Diseases" at General Assembly (1961) held by Japanese Society of Internal Medicine.1)
Here the author is going to discuss epidemiology with statistical data, pathologic physiology, diagnosis and therapy of, chiefly, rheumatoid arthritis (RA), referring also to some of the other rheumatic diseases.
