Abstract
Some remarks of the Ashibumi-Test on healthy persons were obtained and their physiological value limits were investigated. When we added healthy persons with weak rotary stimuli or caloric stimuli, there were distinct reaction of the Ashibumi-Test. Furthermore, a quite contrary effect was noted on the direction of deviation which was induced by both cold and warm caloric stimuli.
We confirmed a fact that the head position was influenced with the deviation of the Ashibumi-Test, but not so strongly. We also found that the following fact: the direction of deviation wasreversed a certain number of minutes after pouring water 20cc and 30°C on the patient who had the Ashibumi-Test for a long time.
This made us assume that there is a close relation between the endolymphatic flow and the course of the Ashibumi-Test.
