The patient was a boy aged 13 with perfect health record. One day, he was obscured consious suddenly, and was cramped a while ago. At admission, he was found to have hypertension that the initial count of blood pressure was 160-208/92-104 mmHg, and to have albuminuria and 27.2 mg/dl of urea-N. The right kidney was completely out of function according to excretory pyelography, retrograde pyelography and renogram, but any vascural disorder was not found by renal angiography and TRFR.
Due to malfunction of the right kidney, right nephrectomy was carried out, and its histological findings disclosed chrnoic pyelonephritis.
The blood pressure after operation had been kept at 130-150 mmHg and the condition of patient was excellent.
