Abstract
The terms of rigidity and spasticity are considered to denote different states in clinical neurology.
Rigospastic muscle consisted of tonic and phasic component, was demonstrated in the hemiplegia, spinal lesion and myeloradiculoneuropathy. Also on every case, each muscle was different in the distribution of rigid and spastic element and strength of the hypertonicity.
Effect to other muscles of obturator nerve block by dilute phenol was observed by stretch reflex.
The author experienced the secondary reaction of phenol block upon sciatic nerve of rabbits.
