THERAPEUTIC RESPONSE OF METASTATIC LIVER TUMOR, WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO MFC THERAPY

Abstract

Of 16 patients with metastatic liver tumor treated with MFC therapy, 13 (81%) showed an objective response of tumor shrinkage. Fifty per cent survival of the group with response was 7 months long after diagnosis. Three cases of them were demonstrated as a part of the serial presentation of the cases with well response (total, 8 patients). The activities of serum LDH, Al-P and GOT were also checked, which were closely related to the therapeutic response of the tumor
