1) Of 423 patients handled by the medical department of National Konodai Hospital during the month of July, 1950, psychopathic factors of varying degree were found in 30% of the cases.
2) In this respect there is no significant difference between the findings made in American hospitals and those of ours.
3) About 50% of patients who visited this department were found to have a certain assumed disease which they fear.
4) Among the diseases they fear, tuberculosis ranks the highest (50%).
5) About a quarter of patients fear the disease which was mentioned by the former attending physicians.
6) an the basis of my statistical data, the environment under which patients live plays little in the causation of neurosis.

11) The fact that about 30% of the patients who come to the medical department have psycopathic factors, indicates that doctors should examine patients more closely from the psychosomatic aspect in every day practice.
