Towards Simplification of Nutrition Labeling

Abstract

The adoption of a simplified nutrition label, called "a nutrition score (Nutri-score¹)", within the EU has been considered in recent years. First, we examine consumers’ decision-making processes when purchasing food. Next, we examine the results of the Consumer Affairs Agency’s questionnaire about how consumers attach importance to nutrition label information.
