A PWM logic valve which is a combination of a logic valve and a high speed ON/OFF solenoid valve is studied. With a PWM controlled solenoid valve used as a pilot valve, a PWM logic valve can be constructed. Various types of PWM logic valves are presented. Principle of a flow control PWM logic valve is investigated. Static characteristics of the flow rate which is controlled by a PWM signal are made clear through experiment.
