Abstract

As for the beam deflector device of the laser scanning system used for laser printer and MFP, the most are polygon motors. A MEMS actuator is examined as a beam deflector to take place of polygon motor for a long time, but there are few results, and there is not a true example particularly in color printer/MFP. The increase of the spot size of the scanning domain edge where the MEMS as the beam deflector includes some problems, but faults are caused by an angular velocity turn in that by the optical system because cannot solve it, it is in a big bottleneck. We report an examination result about compensation of the spot size by the luminescence control of the laser.
