Abstract

Our way of working has been drastically changed by the normalization of telecommuting due to the new coronavirus. It has had a major impact on the lives of individuals as well as companies.

While workers were restricted from coming to the office, companies worked on restructuring their offices in their business processes, such as digitization of communication and business processes, and renewal of offices with infection prevention measures.

In this paper, we will discuss how working styles will change in the future in response to the major external environmental changes caused by the new coronavirus, based on several case studies and surveys. The paper will also look at the role of the office and how it should respond to the With/After corona work style. Although the pandemic was predicted to be a risk for the 21st century, We would like to discuss the rapidly advancing digitalization and the nature of work styles, and redefine the office based on the premise of work styles in a knowledge-based society.
