Abstract

Originally, branding and embossing were the mainstream for expressing letters, logos, and patterns on the surface of food, and many of them were simple in color and shape, and it was often used in mass production. In recent years, the needs of the food industry have diversified, and especially in the domestic confectionery industry, edible printing, in which various patterns and characters are printed on food in order to attract the attention of consumers, is becoming mainstream. In particular, food printers equipped with edible ink are playing an important role in creating products specialized for individual needs in today's increasingly digital world. Our company has been developing and selling food printers for the edible printing market in the food industry since 2005. In this article, we will introduce the food printers we have developed under the title of “Food Printers that Create Added Value”.
