Abstract
The purpose of the present work was to investigate a mechanism of synchronicity from the viewpoint of quantum theory and holographic cosmology. A model of consciousness has been proposed that all information, including human consciousness, of the 4-dimensional spacetime of the universe is recorded on a 3-dimensional boundary. This conscious field and a certain physical phenomenon generated simultaneously are called synchronicity in the present work. A model for synchronicity was proposed that two particular information quantities I_<Cons>(r, it)/I_B(r, it) expressed by the imaginary time on a 3-dimensional boundary resonate. These I_<Cons> and I_B quantities have the condition of implication and transcendence including information of the whole universe. The synchronicity phenomenon with the information quantity I_<CB> occurs in the 4-dimensional space-time r_CB and real time t_CB in the overlapped region of the phenomena and consciousness. Another model was also proposed that the synchronization/resonance [(px-Et)_C=n(px-Et)_<Univ>] region of the consciousness wave function Ψ_C=Ae^<i(px-Et)/h> and wave function of the universe Ψ_<Univ> appears in the usual 4-dimensional spacetime. Further discussion on the mechanism is expected.
