Abstract
In the current Japanese education system, viewpoints of life and death are not taught clearly. Therefore, it seems that people have lost their heart to concerns of this world and materialism. In this presentation, we propose to include the circulation theory of the five elements as a part of knowledge about life and death, which has been acknowledged in the ancient philosophies of Samkhya, Greece and Buddhism. People are part of a universal flow. This means that things that we humans are polluting now will come back to us. And what is more, if people consume meat and oxidized oil on a daily basis, they are increasing the likelihood of developing diseases. Here we also provide details of an instance where ovarian cancer in the terminal stage was cured by following a vegan dietary theory, and we present healing methods such as having appropriate dietary habits and Tanto-ko by increasing the body's detoxification capability. On a physiological level, we introduce iRest yoga nidra in which practitioners become aware of worldly issues objectively as an observing presence and restore their innate well being as a part of spacious wisdom. This yogic method relaxes the brain as well as the body, so that brain waves are changed from beta waves into theta waves, and the method is capable of healing various symptoms. We propose that ancient Eastern wisdom should be introduced into the future Japanese education system, so that young people can be offered information about appropriate morality and healing necessary for living in a modern stressful world.
