Abstract
International volunteer laboratory (hereafter, I.V.L.) is a student group in Meio University for those who are interested in learning international volunteers based in Okinawa and 39 students belong to the group (as of June 2020). The I.V.L. activities consist of participation to the project entitled “Okinawan Youth Career Development for reaching SDGs Goals” organized by an Okinawan NPO named Lequio Wings, interviewing to several local NPOs in Okinawa in order to know more about the real world of international cooperation, and attending at an academic conference, such as international society of Volunteer Studies (ISVS) to both give presentation and expand the human network. Some of these students’ carrier or learning process were introduced in the ISVS academic conference in 2020.We are currently striving at how to deal with our motivation and activities related to international cooperation under the pandemic of COVID-19.
