Abstract
In this paper, reports on the volunteer activities of self-help organization of ethnic groups of Myanmar in Shinjuku ward, Tokyo, before and after the pandemic of COVID-19. Since the establishment of organization in 2012, their activities focus on education due to produce human resources who can contribute Japanese Society. It is a Japanese language class for adults and Myanmar language class for children in the community of Myanmar and Myanmar refugees. However, many people in the community faced a crisis of life because of the pandemic of Covid-19. Therefore, the activities of organization transformed to emergency support with the financial support of the public interest incorporated foundation. It was an activity to protect the lives of those who lost their jobs or houses. Although leaders also faced difficult situation, the idea they decided “providing support to the people in the worst situation” is could be said to embody the spirits of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).Through the things found out in their decision and activity, reports the difficulties and possibilities of realizing the society of “No One will be left behind”.
