Abstract
We previously reported on a motion compensation method which could encode region shapes at low coding rates by using Voronoi diagrams. This paper proposes a new method which introduces warping prediction based on Delaunay diagrams into the above method. The former provides predicted images with higher SNR and less blocking-effects than the latter.
