Abstract
In this paper, we discuss the "cardboard effect" which is a common form of distortion in stereoscopic images. Particularly, the relationship is studied between the "cardboard effect" and shooting conditions, such as the focal length of lenses or lighting conditions. Subjective evaluation tests show that the "cardboard effect" is emphasized with long focal length of lenses.
