Abstract
In order to develop an intelligent robot camera, analyses of suitable factors for the subjective evaluation of differences between pictures were conducted through camerawork and subjective evaluations on moving subjects being shot by a robot camera. The results revealed that the appropriate factors for the evaluation of pictures can be grouped into four areas, namely "continuity" ; "vividness" ; "sensitivity" ; and "human warmth", and that high values are given to "continuity, " "vividness" and "sensitivity" when the subject is near to the center of the image, regardless of the size of the object ; etc.
