Development of transmitting station alarm device

Abstract

In order to maintain stable broadcasting services it is necessary to always have an accurate grasp of broadcasting equipment conditions. To prevent broadcast mishaps, NHK already uses transmission control and surveillance devices suited to the size of each station. Now we have also developed a practical version of a transmitting station alarm devise which uses a commercially-available radio-linked LAN.
