A Picture Quality Evaluation of Electromagnetic Panel Display by 2×2 Matrix Pixel

Abstract

For an original display picture of an electromagnetic panel display used a 256 tone coffee cup image having smooth brightness change. Picture quality of the panel display by 2×2 matrix elements varies with brightness levels of matrix's sub-elements. The optimum brightness level was founded by variance and LSS characteristics.
