We have stydied a field-sequential stereoscopic display method with 42-inch diagonal HDTV PDP. This system uses LCD shutter electronic stereoscopic eyeglass, synchronized with R and L pictures on the monitor using wireless infrared signals. This report is focused on light emission sheme for stereoscopic display and processing for improvement of gray scale expression in dark image areas. Arrangement of sub-fields and the way to error diffusion are discussed.
