A 1/4 inch VGA format CMOS image sensor has been developed. The sensor is fabricated using a 0.6μm CMOS process technology and the cell size is 5.6μm×5.6μm. The imager operates with a single 3.3V power supply and the fixed pattern noise is less than 0.1mV for 600mV saturation voltage.
