On the occasion of Digital Broadcasting, it will be necessary to handle the video signals of various formats(HDTV, SDTV, encoded signal like MPEG, DVCPRO, SX). We have developed the one-box type matrix switcher which can handle these signals. This paper describes an outline of matrix switcher and its application system.
